Please take time to read through the list of categories and their criteria as you may notice we have introduced some changes. Every year we review the entry process for the Bett Awards in order to ensure they continue to reflect classroom practice. This year we gathered a group of teachers and practitioners who looked at every aspect of each category. As a result you will see that there have been some significant changes.

  • We have broken our general primary and secondary digital resources categories into smaller, more specialist categories. This enables judges to better assess products on a like for like basis, and ensures every entry will have an equal chance of success.
  • We have changed the judging criteria to bring more cohesion across all categories
  • We have introduced judging criteria for diversity and inclusion, and sustainability to reflect the importance of these issues

We think these changes will make it easier for you to identify the most suitable category to enter, but if you have any questions please contact
